Harriet Tubman a born slave made it her dream to become free and to free as many as possible along with herself. So not only was she able to flee slavery she came back for others freedom thirteen times.

Huey P. Newton was one of the founders of the Black Panther Party. The 3 quotes under this I think can show what a revolutionary leader he was. Leader of the people.

Assata Shakur, a political prisoner. To make the story short Assata was yet another member of the black panthers party. She wrote a book on her various adventures and she was arrested throughout the book. She was able to escape her enslavement in prison and escape to Cuba, today she remains on the American death list(if found she will be killed)

Rosa Parks was the spark to the montgomery bus boycott. Her refusal to give her seat up to a white person landed her in jail. African Americans in montgomery, boycotted buses until her release and non segregated buses.
